## How to play Number Rush

Clear three 4×4 boards in 45 seconds: 1–16, 16–1, then odd numbers followed by evens. Correct tiles disappear and a completed run saves a 48-split ghost for your next attempt.

### Controls and round details

Tap the requested numbers in the current route; cleared tiles disappear. The order changes to descending after the first board and odds then evens after the second. Complete all three before 45 seconds.

## Number Rush scoring

Each correct number adds 10 points. A wrong tile costs 4 and breaks your streak; clearing a board grants 20. Finishing all 48 tiles adds three times the remaining seconds.

After your first completed three-board run, the hint compares all 48 of your splits against your fastest saved run. It uses active play time, so pausing does not give the ghost an advantage.

## Number Rush strategy and tips

### Number Rush tips

1. Search near the last number before sweeping the whole board.
2. Use a predictable left-to-right scan when stuck.
3. Do not let speed turn into random tapping.

### The route on each board

Board one follows 1, 2, 3 and onward to 16. Board two reverses that order, beginning at 16 and ending at 1. Board three asks for 1, 3, 5 through 15, then 2, 4, 6 through 16. Check the route label before the new board appears; tapping a number from the previous route costs points but does not remove that tile.

The ghost is saved only after all 48 selections are completed. It compares how many numbers your fastest finished run had found at the same active-play time. A partial attempt cannot replace it. If you fall behind the ghost early, accurate scanning may still beat rushed wrong taps, which break your streak and leave the board unchanged.

## Common Number Rush mistakes

- **Tapping a number from the previous route.** Check the route label when each board starts.
- **Scanning the whole board every time.** Look near the last number first.
- **Rushing wrong taps.** A wrong tile costs 4 points and clears nothing.

## About Number Rush

Number Rush is a Tap Rush Arcade original based on the Schulte table, a classic attention exercise in which you find numbers in order on a scrambled grid. The three routes stop you from relying on memory alone, and the ghost compares every one of your 48 taps with your best finished run.

## Number Rush: questions and answers

### What does the ghost count mean?

It is the progress your fastest completed three-board run had made at the same active time.

### Do unfinished runs replace my ghost?

No. Only a completed run can establish or improve the saved ghost.

### Does pausing help me beat the ghost?

No. The ghost compares active play time, so paused time does not count.
