How to play Dodge Dash
Move the cyan player left and right with the arrow keys. On a phone or tablet, drag inside the arena or use the left and right touch controls below it. Watch the flashing warning above each incoming hazard, then survive until time expires.
Controls and round details
Drag the cyan player, hold the left/right controls or use arrow keys. Survive three escalating ten-second waves in a 30-second round; clearing them awards a remaining-shield bonus.
Dodge Dash scoring
Each falling block you avoid adds 4 points and extends your streak. You have three shields, so a hit consumes one and grants brief protection. Watch the warning marks before each wave; every wave keeps a reachable safe lane. A green pickup can restore a shield.
Follow the warning marks to the open lane. Later waves block more lanes, so begin moving when they appear. Save room to reach the next safe lane and collect green shield pickups when hurt.
Dodge Dash strategy and tips
Dodge Dash tips
- Make small movements instead of crossing the whole arena.
- Look above your player so you react before hazards arrive.
- Return toward the center when the path is clear.
Reading a hazard wave
Warning marks identify the lanes about to receive blocks. In the first ten seconds, each wave blocks one lane; the next phase blocks two; the final phase can block three of four. The unmarked lane is your route through the wave. Because successive safe lanes shift by at most one lane, move when the warnings appear instead of waiting for the blocks to reach your player.
A hit costs a shield and briefly protects you from another hit. A green pickup may appear in the safe lane after several waves when you are below three shields. Recover it if you can without steering back into a block. Passing hazards and finishing with shields left both contribute to your score.
Common Dodge Dash mistakes
- Waiting for blocks to reach you. Move as soon as the warnings appear.
- Crossing the whole arena. Safe lanes shift by at most one lane, so small moves are enough.
- Chasing a shield through a block. A pickup is only worth it if the path is clear.
About Dodge Dash
Dodge Dash is a Tap Rush Arcade original built around one idea: read the warning, then move. Each wave blocks more lanes than the last, but there is always a safe route, so a perfect run is always possible.
